Inner peace can be reached only when we practice forgiveness. Forgiveness is the letting go of the past, and is therefore the mean for correcting our misperceptions.

Our misperceptions can only be undone now, and can be accomplished only through letting go whatever we think other people have done to us, or whatever we think other people have done to us, or whatever we think we have done to them, we become free to embrace a present without the need to reenact our past.

Through true forgiveness we can stop the endless recoiling of guilt and look upon ourselves and others with Love. Forgiveness releases all thoughts that seem to separate us from each other. Without the belief in separation, we can accept our own healing and extend healing Love to all those around us. Healing results from the thought of unity.

As inner peace is recognized as our single goal, forgiveness becomes our single function. When we accept both our goal and our function. We find our inner, intuitive voice becomes our only guide to fulfillment. We are release others from the prison of our distorted and illusory perception, and join with them in the unity of Love.

- From the book Love is Letting Go of Fear

Just decide what it’s gonna be, who you‘re gonna be, how you are going to do it.

Five Success Secrets From Will Smith:

1. Decide who you’re gonna be. “There’s a redemptive power that making a choice has rather than feeling like you’re an effect to all the things that are happening. Make a choice. Just decide what it’s gonna be, who you’re gonna be, how you are going to do it. Just decide. And from that point, the universe will get out of your way.”

2. Create your own possibilities. “I want to represent possibilities. I want to represent the idea that you really can make what you want. I believe that I can create whatever I want to create. If I could put my head on it right, study it, learn the patterns… I feel very strongly that we are who we choose to be.”

3. Make lemonade out of life’s lemons. “One of my favorite books is The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo. I consider myself an alchemist. An alchemist is a mystical chemist, and one of the great feats that alchemist used to do is they would take a chunk of lead and turn lead into gold. I so connected to symbolically being able to turn lead into gold. My grandmother used to say, “When life gives you lemons you go ahead and make lemonade”…that’s alchemy.”

4. Don’t be outworked. “I will not be outworked. Period. You might have more talent than me, you might be smarter than me, you might be sexier than me. You might be all of those things…but if we get on the treadmill together—there are two things: you’re getting off first or I’m gonna die. It’s really that simple. You are not gonna outwork me. The guy who is willing to hustle the most is gonna be the guy who just gets that loose ball.”

5. Stay ready. “The majority of people who aren’t getting to places they want or are not achieving the things that they want in this business is strictly based on hustle. It’s strictly based on being out worked. It’s strictly based on missing crucial opportunities. If you stay ready, you ain’t got to get ready.”

There’s a certain delusional quality that all successful people have to have.
- Will Smith

Greatness Exists in All of Us

“Greatness is not this wonderful esoteric, elusive, god like feature that only the special among us will ever taste. It’s something that truly exists in all of us.”

There’s No Shortcut to Success

“Talent you have naturally. Skill is only developed by hours, and hours, and hours of beating on your craft…There’s no easy way around it, no matter how talented you are, your talent is going to fail you unless you are skilled. If you don’t study, work hard, and dedicate yourself to being better every single day, you won’t be able to communicate with your artistry the way you want.”

Lay One Brick at a Time

“You don’t set out to build a wall, you don’t say I’m going to build the biggest, baddest, greatest wall that’s ever been built. You don’t start there. You say, I’m going to lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid and you do that every single day. Then soon you have a wall.”

Focus on Making a Difference

“I want my life, my work, my family, to mean something. If you are not making someone else’s life better then you are wasting your time. Your life will become better by making other’s lives better.”

You Have to Believe

“The first step before anybody else in the world believes it is you have to believe. There’s no reason to have a Plan B because it distracts from Plan A.

I think that there’s a certain delusional quality that all successful people have to have. You have to believe that something different than what has happened for the last 50 million years of history. You have to believe that something different can happen.”

Nothing is Unrealistic

“Being realistic is the most commonly traveled road to mediocrity. Why would you be realistic? What’s the point of being realistic? I’m going to do it. It’s already done. The second I decide that it’s done…it’s already done. Now we’ve just got to wait for you all to see. It’s unrealistic to walk into a room, flip on a switch, and lights come one. That’s unrealistic. Fortunately, Edison didn’t think so.”

Our Thoughts are Physical

“Our thoughts, our feelings, our dreams, our ideas are physical in the universe. If we dream something, if we picture something, if we commit ourselves to it…then that is a physical thrust towards realization that we can put into the universe. The universe is not a thing that is going to push us around. The world, people, situations are not going to push us around. We are going to bend the universe and command it…demand it…to become what we want it to be.”

You Really Got to Focus

“I realize that to have the level of success that I want to have. It’s difficult to spread it out and do multiple different things. It takes such desperate, obsessive focus. You’ve really got to focus with all of your heart, fiber, and creativity.”

Attack Your Fears

“I’m motivated by fear of fear. I hate being scared to do something. I think what developed in my early days was the attitude that I started attacking things that I was scared of.”

Be Willing to Die for the Truth

“You can’t be scared to die for the truth. The truth is the only thing that will ever be constant.”

Protect your Dream

“Don’t ever let somebody tell you…you can’t do something. If you’ve got a dream, you’ve go to protect it. People can’t do something themselves they want to tell you that you can’t do it. You want something? Go get it. Period.”

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
I finally decided to keep a gratitude book- I started it from the basic, looking at my life, with all the things I gone through in the past and looking at myself right now I am very grateful for the following:

1. The hard times I gone through when I was little until growing up.

2. My not perfect and complete family

3. The brokenness I have in terms of finances, spirit and emotion- this allowed me to connect to myself and to the people around me. My brokenness have allowed me experience humility.

4. My perspective. Having an early face-to-face experience of what life is in a young age have allowed me to see plurality of perspective of a single picture.

The things I listed above are just the few of the things I am grateful of. This is just the start of my gratitude journal as I am embracing Life.

To give is to receive- This is the law of Love. Under this law, when we give our love away to others we gain, and what ever give we simultaneously receive. The law of Love is based on the abundance; we are completely filled with Loved all the time, and our supply is always full and running over. When we give our Love unconditionally to others with no expectation of return, the Love within us extends, expands and joins. At times, it feels more important for us to predict that we are going to be miserable the next moment, and then find pleasure in being right, than to have true happiness in the present moment. This can be looked upon as an insane way of trying to protect ourselves. It produces a short circuit that confuses pleasure with pain.

We often believe that fears of the past can successfully predict the fears of the future. The result of this type of thinking are that we spend most of our time worrying about both the past and the future, creating a vicious circle of fear, which leave little room for Love and Joy in the present.
